The beginning

Old Gringo Music is an independent music publishing/artist development company with offices in Nashville, Tennessee. Started in 2009 by Chris Hunter, the company has in a short time, established itself as a cultivator of young talent. With 9 number #1 songs, 8- ASCAP Song Awards, 2015 ASCAP Song of the Year, with songs recorded by Kenny Chesney, Billy Currington, Keith Urban, Sam Hunt, Reba McEntire, William Michael Morgan, Big & Rich, and many others, our focus has always been "the song". We represent the catalogue of Sam Hunt along with former Old Gringo/Dis Keef staff writer Zach Lockwood.

Zach Lockwood (CATALOG)

Zach Lockwood is originally from Old Lyme, Connecticut. He's lived in Nashville for the past five years. Zach signed a publishing deal with Old Gringo/Dis Keef Music in 2015. He since had cuts by Big & Rich, Nick Fradiani, Dustin Hensley, Dylan Schneider, and Drew Castle, as well as putting out his own EP titled "Dirt On Each Other" in the summer of 2016.

Sam Hunt signed a publishing deal with Old Gringo Music in the spring of 2009 and was a staff writer until June of 2015. Sam has had cuts by Kenny Chesney, Billy Currington, Keith Urban, Reba McEntire, William Michael Morgan and others, as well as his own Double Platinium album Montevello. Sam is currently self published, but we continue to represent his amazing catalog of hit songs.
